My Story
Samantha (“Sam”) Duda comes to the Kind Mom team as a momma to two very active boys, Jacob, and Logan. She is happily married to her husband whom she met at Shenandoah University. Additionally, Samantha is an active member of her church; serving as a deacon and children's Sunday school teacher. In her free time, she enjoys working out and watching her husband's high school football team.
Sam attended Shenandoah University and obtained her B.S in Kinesiology. She then continued to Blue Ridge Community and Technical college where she became a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Virginia. She works in a local woman-owned outpatient clinic treating a variety of patients, ranging in ages from children to adults.
Samantha believes in the Kind Mom mission because of the sense of community that is being built. Sam experienced her fair share of anxiety after her first son was born and felt alone most days. She was working full-time and taking care of her son, and she became overwhelmed quickly. During this time, Sam was working for Jess Woelkers (Jess and her husband owned the clinic Sam where she was employed). Jess quickly became Sam's "go-to" for everything and someone that she felt like she could talk to! Sam truly enjoys volunteering her time to Kind Mom and is looking forward to building a large Kind Mom community so no one ever feels alone!
